Hockey: Packer boys drop opener

MINOT, N.D. — The Austin Bruins suffered their first shutout loss of the season as they fell 1-0 in Minot Saturday.

The Minitauros (11-12-1 overall) scored their lone goal in the second period when Jadin Martin scored.

The Bruins (17-5-3 overall) lost both games to Minot over the weekend and they scored just one goal on a total of 52 shots.

Nicholas Lehr had 27 saves on Saturday.
