David R. Rosenkilde, 57, died Nov. 22, 2012, at the V.A. Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.

David was born March 10, 1955, to Leo E. and Ruth Schaldack Rosenkilde. He attended high school in Alexandria, Minn., and Austin, Minn., and served in the U.S. Navy. During his life, he was married to Gloria Sweigart and Dina Martin.

He is survived by his sister Sue Taylor and brother Larry Rosenkilde, both of Missouri; sons Matt and Nathaniel Rosenkilde; daughter, Jessica McLaughlin, Phoenix area; and two children of Japanese descent.

David was preceded in death by his mother and father, and his niece, Melanie.

A service will be held at the V.A. Cemetery in Phoenix at 1 p.m. on Dec. 7, 2012. No visitation will be held. Interment with fully military rites will follow the service.
