Darlean Rudella Magee, 80, of Austin, Minn., died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Our House Memory Care in Austin.

Darlean was born on Dec. 24, 1931, in Blooming Prairie, Minn., to Irwin and Ruth (Boysen) Iverson. She graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 1949 and married Richard Magee on Sept. 10, 1953. Darlean was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church,s where she was an active member of her church circle. She was a member of the Garden Club and also enjoyed crafts, antiques, and flowers.

Darlean was preceded in death by her parents, Irwin and Ruth Iverson, infant brother, Rodney and son-in-law, John Verducci.

Darlean is survived by her husband, Richard Magee, Austin; children, Debra (Magee) Verducci, Arlington, Va., Dale (Julie) Magee, Bloomington, Deanna Magee (Jeff Huber), Brighton, Mich., David Magee, Arlington, Douglas Magee, Two Harbors, Minn; grandchildren, Kimberly (Andrew) Robinson, Steven (Sarah) Magee, Emily Magee; brothers, Lyle Iverson, Randlett, Okla., Darrel (Sandra) Iverson, Blooming Prairie, Irwin (Judy) Iverson Jr., Blooming Prairie, Larry Iverson, Rochester, Minn.; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. William Odermann officiating. Interment will be in the Woodbury Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary and at the church on Tuesday for one hour before the service.
