Published 5:11 pm Saturday, December 8, 2012
This is a busy week, and we would love to see you at the center. At 2 p.m. on Wednesday we are going to have another lefse class. Last year this was well attended and they had a great time. Come and learn how to make your own lefse and for only $5 take a half dozen home with you. Please stop by or call ahead to reserve your space for this class at 433-2370 ext. 0.
Did you know Russell Lucas from Austin, flies hot air balloons in Turkey?
At 3 p.m. on Thursday Russell will be coming to talk to us about his amazing adventures. Come and hear the story of how Russell ended up flying balloons in Turkey.
“My pilot history started with airplanes. My skydiving and BASE jumping and finally flying balloons. The presentation has pictures from Turkey that I talk about as I tell my flying history and videos of BASE jumping, tandem skydiving, and ballooning in Turkey,” he said.
Happy Holidays. This week we are spreading some holiday cheer with our Christmas Open House. Join us Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. for appetizers and sweet holiday treats.
