Southland girls fall to Dover-Eyota

ADAMS — The Southland girls basketball team lost 81-66 to Dover-Eyota (8-0 overall, 5-0 Three Rivers) in Adams Tuesday.

McKenzie Kirtz led the Rebels (4-1 overall, 4-1 Three Rivers) with 14 points in her first game back from injury.

“It was a great test,” Southland head coach Bob Sheehan said. “We just didn’t shoot very well on free throws and we missed a lot of good, open shots.”

Southland missed 22 free throws in the loss.
