Drug dealer sentenced for selling meth to informant

An Austin man is guilty of selling drugs to a confidential informant and was convicted Monday in Mower County Court.
Juan Rodriguez-Sebastian was sentenced to 20 years’ supervised probation for a felony third-degree drug sale conviction.
According to the court complaint, Rodriguez-Sebastian sold more than three grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant three different times and 1.4 grams on another occasion during the summer and fall of 2012 in Austin. Another charge, felony first-degree drug sale of more than 10 grams of meth within 90 days, was dismissed.
