Two fantastic events are happening at the Historic Paramount Theatre to ring in the new year.

At 7:30 p.m. on Monday, we have our annual New Year’s Eve Extravaganza. Local producer Denny Charnecki promises the evening will be fun and entertaining.

As always, it will feature a whole host of local talent including champion fiddlers, hula hoopers, and musicians playing a wide variety of blues, rock and roll, and country.

The Austin Jaycee’s will be selling alcohol, and each patron will receive a New Year’s Eve party favor to bring the year in right.

Then, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, we will present Denny Charnecki and the DC Drifters in a Dance Party.

This fun-filled, rockin’ event is a tribute to big three legends of rock and roll: Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and The Big Bopper.

The more than 400 patrons who attended this event last year were wowed by the quality of the concert, and this year’s presentation is sure to be just as fantastic. It will feature all the great music you know and love by these artists. In fact, this show is was selected to kick off the Winter Dance Party at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa, at the end of January.
