Lawrence Boley

Larry was born on July 22, 1932, to Sheldon and Eva (Richert) Boley in Charlestown, Ind. He graduated from high school in Elizabeth, Ind., where he met Janet Brewer. Janet and Larry had been married for 60 years and celebrated their anniversary on March 15. Together they raised three sons and two daughters. Larry spent the majority of his life as a farmer in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. He also spent several years as an insurance agent, a meat cutter, and most recently, 10 years at Walmart. Whatever his job, Larry always had time for a story, joke or just simple conversation. He enjoyed being around people and was well known for visiting over coffee and breakfast. Larry loved to travel. He and Janet visited most of the United States, but especially enjoyed their time spent together in Branson, Miss.

Larry is survived by his wife, Janet of Byron, Minn.; two sons, Darrell (Wanda) Boley of Dexter, Minn., and Kenneth (Deborah) Boley of Byron; daughter-in-law, Diane (David) of Hayfield, Minn.; and two daughters, Carlita (Ron) Lewison of Houston, Minn., and Donna (Charles) Jensen of Alexandria, Minn. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and more than 30 great-grandchildren with one great-great-grandchild on the way.
