Bryan L. Green, 71, of Austin, Minn., died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home.

Bryan was born June 20, 1941, in Brownsdale, Minn., to Lester and Marjorie Green. He grew up in Austin and graduated from Austin High School. Following graduation, he served four years in the Army. On Aug. 25, 1963, he married Carol Greenameyer in Austin. The couple settled in Austin and raised two children. Bryan worked at IBM in Rochester before retirement. He enjoyed photography, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a friend to many.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Green, Austin; son, Tony (Shelby) Green, Eagan, Minn.; daughter, Tracy Green, Owatonna, Minn.; granddaughter, Paige, Eagan; brother, Bruce Green, Crawford, Colo.; sister, Barb (Don) Sprandel, Austin; nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Kimberly; and brother, Jan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bill Odermann officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home and also one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
