Rebel boys top Kingsland

KINGSLAND — The Southland boys basketball team brought some strong defensive pressure as it beat Kingsland (4-8 overall, 4-5 Three Rivers) 76-49 on the road Monday.
Mike Goergen led the Rebels (11-3 overall, 8-1 Three Rivers) with 25 points.
“I was extremely happy with our pressure on defense,” Southland head coach Jon Thalberg said. “It led to quite a few easy lay-ups.”
