Boys basketball: Blossoms top Superlarks

BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team beat Grand Meadow (13-9 overall) in BP Monday.
Sophomore John Rumpza had 25 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and five steals for BP (12-8 overall) and Michael Thomas had 12 points.
The Awesome Blossoms led by as many 17 at the half and GM pulled to within 12 at one point in the second half.
“GM is very athletic and they never gave up,” BP head coach John Bruns said. “They have good size and some good shooters so it was nice to get a win like this.”
