The Lyle School Board will interview three candidates in the coming week to narrow down who will succeed Joe Guanella as superintendent at the end of this school year.

Tuesday, the board will interview Michelle Mortensen, the current K-12 superintendent and principal in Ivanhoe, followed by Jennifer Backer, the superintendent in Cromwell.

On Saturday, the board will interview Martin Avelsgaard, previously the superintendent at Lake Superior School District and director of Sana’a International School in Yemen.
