Elderly of today are more healthy and active

Roughly 10,000 Baby Boomers will turn 65 today, and about 10,000 more will cross that threshold every day for the next 17 years.
The Baby Boomers of today have completely different lifestyles and ways of dealing with things than the past generations. Their views of the world greatly differ from the ways that their own grandparents viewed it.
Baby Boomers have experienced great historical turmoil and major inventions that have shaped their lives and the world that they live in.
When I think of an elderly person I think of someone that is at least 60 years old. However, the average 60 year old of today is by no means “elderly.” Many of today’s older generation are active and healthy. These individuals are doing everything that they can to stay as full of life and as energetic as possible.
These folks are not the grannys and grandpas of the past. Many of them do not consider themselves to be old and even prefer sports and activities that previously belonged to the younger generation.
The senior population of today is vastly different from the seniors of yesterday. They are not sitting on the front porch in a rocker growing old. Parachuting from a plane, surfing, scuba diving and other exciting activities are now the norm.
Seniors of today are not afraid to take risks and are enjoying the fun they are having in their senior years.
If you are getting to that age and ready to get off your rocker come down to the center.
