Two homeowners reported burglaries at their unlocked homes during the past three days in Austin.

A southwest Austin resident returned home Saturday and discovered someone had been in his house. Police went to the 1000 block of Second Avenue Southwest at about 2 p.m. Saturday, where the 28-year-old man said someone stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim said the burglary likely happened between 11 and 11:30 a.m.

A 21-year-old man said Monday morning someone entered his home in the 900 block of Eighth Street Northwest and stole a 47-inch LG television, XBox game system and a cable box.

Police have no suspects in either case. Both homeowners said their doors were left unlocked.
