ROSE CREEK — The Southland softball team had its momentum stalled early in an 11-3 loss to Dover-Eyota in Rose Creek Wednesday.

The Rebels (3-13 overall) opened the scoring when Makayla Swenson singled in a run in the first, but DE (3-12 overall) responded by taking a 6-1 lead into the bottom of the third, where Southland had a chance to get back in it.
