Monday morning, Ellis Middle School students were recognized for having all As this school year. Several had met this achievement for a second or third year.

From sixth grade: Sarah Bachmeier, Emily Eich, Nathan Meyer, Hannah Ryks, Riley Wempner; seventh grade: Isaac Christopherson, Jo Ann Ziem La, Sydney Marsh, Lilly Nystel, Emily Sayles, Paiton Elizabeth Schwab; eighth grade: Miranda Bergemann, Trenton Brown, Christine Nelson.

Also honored at the ceremony were the 2013 inductees into the Ellis Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. From sixth grade: Jenna Braaten, Steven Conradt, Eleanor Hinchcliffe, Henry Hinchcliffe, Morgan Hose, Brock Lawhead, Grayden Shupe, Chase Witiak, Carol Zhang; seventh grade: Isaac Christopherson, Benjamin Kinney.
