GRADUATIONS

•Travis Fuerstenberg of Austin graduated from Alexandria Technical & Community College in Alexandria with a degree in marine and small engine mechanic.

•Andrea Astrup of Austin earned a doctor of physical therapy degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa.

DEAN’S LIST

•Andre Benedict of Austin has been named to the spring 2013 dean’s list at Concordia University in St. Paul.

•Brooke Kinney of Adams was named to the spring 2013 dean’s list at Augustana College.

•The following students were named to the spring 2013 dean’s list at Rochester Community and Technical College: Austin residents Brandon Hall, Jenna Helfritz, Erin Holtorf, Samantha Ivers, Teresa Judd, Jenalee Karlen, Joshua Konken, Susan Meineke, Nora Prom, Jessica Strand, Esperanza Torres Garcia; and Lyle residents Breanna Bartholomew and Joshua Landherr.

•Three local residents were named to the spring 2013 dean’s list at Minnesota State University – Moorhead: Beatrice Franke of Hayfield, Brooke Johnson of Austin and Erin Johnson of Blooming Prairie.

•Four Austin residents have been named to the spring 2013 dean’s list at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa: Ingrid Baudler, Stephen Brockman, Nicole Shatek and Jessica Tan.

•Three local residents were named to the 2013 winter/May term dean’s list at Wartburg College: Megan Ellis of Austin, Megan Tapp of Dexter and Tanner Kramer of Hayfield.
