Southland English teacher Tim Brennan’s one act play “Hear Me Now” recently won the Heartland Midwest One Act Play competition, sponsored by Heartland Theatre in Bloomington, Ill.

Brennan will attend a workshop with Mary Ruth Clarke (writer for the original “Meet the Parents”) and his play will be performed July 12, 13 and 14.
