Margaret Schultz, 91, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Margaret V. Schultz, of Albert Lea, will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Timothy Reker will officiate. Interment will be at the St. Theodore Cemetery, Albert Lea. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Bonnerup Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
Margaret Schultz passed away at the Good Samaritan Society on Sunday, July 28, 2013. She was 91 years old.
Margaret was born in Albert Lea on March 26, 1922, to Frank and Cecelia (Hassing) Schultz. After graduation, she went on to work for Wilson & Co. in Albert Lea. She worked there until her retirement in 1983. Margaret was baptized, confirmed and was a lifetime member at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church. She was deeply rooted in her Catholic faith. Margaret enjoyed many things in life. She enjoyed all of the family get-togethers that would occur throughout the year. She liked various flowers and plants, and outdoor life in general, as she enjoyed the many drives she took in the country. If you ever needed something at the grocery store, Margaret always would pull a coupon out of her coupon book to give to you, as she loved to coupon. She also liked collecting recipes.
Margaret was the unanimous family leader. She was the caretaker of the family, and a mother to everybody. She was a very caring individual, and always had a smile on her face. She always said many jokes, and could make anyone laugh.
Margaret was survived in death by her brother, Roger Schultz, of Albert Lea; sister, Irene Heiny, of Plymouth, Iowa; sisters in-law, Evelyn Schultz, of Albert lea, and Barbara Schultz, of Victoria; her special friend, John Johnson, of Clarks Grove; and 23 nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Cecelia; brothers, Raymond, Robert, Elton, Alvin and Leo; sister, Lorraine Stam; sisters in-law, Delores Schultz and Mille Schultz; and brother in-law, William Heiny.
