Semcac to stop serving meals at Senior Center

Published 5:49 pm Saturday, August 10, 2013

Semcac Dining moved from the Saint Olaf Church to the senior center in 1991 when the building was built.

It has been a part of the center ever since, serving daily meals at 11:30 a.m. Through the years, we have seen a decline in numbers dining at the center. We still consider this a valuable service to the seniors.

It is with regret we announce Semcac has given notice they will no longer be serving at the Senior Center. Sept. 4 will be the last day.

The Senior Center will look into options to continue to serve the Seniors of Mower County. Currently we serve daily soup and sandwiches in the coffee shop and will continue to do so. We will keep you informed as we know more.

You are always welcome at the Senior Center!
