A free mosaics class will be held by the Welcome Center and The Semilla Community Arts Program from 5 to 7 p.m. on August 12, 13, 19, and 20.

The Semilla Community Arts Program teaches mosaic and mural arts in the Twin Cities, as well as selected cities outstate.

To date, Semilla has installed 17 mosaic or painted murals in Phillips, and placed over 30 mosaic flower planters in community gardens, front yards, and in front yards of schools, businesses, and churches.

All classes are free and everyone is welcomed to attend. Space is limited and registration is required. Contact Dora at 434-2863 to register.
