Community service manager Karen Hanson of the Home Instead Senior Care Company of Rochester will visit the Austin Village Cooperative at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, to talk about scams.

Her subject will be the telephone scams directed at the elderly where the callers pose as medical alert companies. Refreshments will be served, and the presentation is open to the public.
