A familiar clinic is back in business.

The Smart Clinic re-opened at Austin’s Sterling Main Street, 1305 First Ave. Southwest, on Aug. 12. While it has the same name, nurse Alyssa Clark noted its a new clinic with a new staff and new providers.

The Smart Clinic first opened on June 15, 2009, at Sterling before it closed later.

Clark said the Smart Clinic will hold a grand opening at some point, but a date has not been set.
