The National Weather Service is urging drivers to prepare for downpours in the next hour.

A strong line of thunderstorms with very heavy rain is moving across southern Minnesota and northern Iowa. These storms and areas of heavy rain will move into Austin and Lyle, as well as Osage and Charles City in Iowa over the next hour.

Though no warnings or watches were issues, NWS urged drivers to expect poor visibilities during downpours along with possible small hail. Lightning is also possible, so people should move indoors until the storms pass through.
