Eileen D. Camerer, 89, of Austin, died at Good Samaritan Comforcare Tuesday evening, May 24, 2011.

She was born June 6, 1921, to Pedar and Anna Forthun. She married Eldon Huffman. After his death, Eileen married Lloyd Camerer on Feb. 14, 1953, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. She was employed by Sears, Roebuck & Company for 15 years in Austin where she made her home in Austin for 69 years. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, spending time with grandchildren and other family members. Eileen also volunteered at St. Olaf Lutheran Church and cooked for the Senior Citizen Center and Semcac.

Survivors include her children, Ellard (Marcene) Forthun of Milaca; Vikki Williams of Austin; Kevin (Ginny) Camerer of Owatonna; Kim (Rodney) Day of Montana; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Pedar Forthun; husbands, Eldon Huffman and Lloyd Camerer; four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Oakland Lutheran Church, rural Austin. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Worlein Funeral Home and at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Oakland Lutheran Cemetery, rural Austin.
