This note is in reference to the editorial in the Austin Herald on Oct. 6. You blame the Tea Party for holding the government hostage. However, you’ve missed a point. Obama will not negotiate, and the democratic-controlled Senate will not communicate. So, the fault should go to the Obama organization and the Senate for refusing to even talk to the Republicans about the health plan. Obama and the Senate created Obamacare. The plan should have been shredded long ago.
