Mary Sulentic, 75, Albert Lea

Memorial services for Mary Jane Sulentic of Albert Lea, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Theodore Catholic Church. The Rev. Timothy T. Reker and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa, at a later date.

Mary died on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at her home in Albert Lea. She was 75 years of age.

Mary was born July 7, 1938, in Waterloo the daughter of Stanley and Theresa (Rice) Railsback. She graduated high school and received her degree in nursing from Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

She was united in marriage to Paul Sulentic on Sept. 24, 1966, in Des Moines. They moved to Albert Lea in 1975 where she worked as an emergency room nurse at Naeve Hospital for many years.

Mary was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and in her free time enjoyed crafting, garage sales, fishing and special times with her friends.

Mary is survived by her husband, Paul, of Albert Lea; children Paulette and her husband, Randy, Redenius and their daughter, Theresa, of Farmington and David Sulentic and his children Alexis and Samuel of La Crosse, Wis. One brother also survives, Leon Railsback, of Waterloo.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John Railsback.
