The Austin Bruins tagged Brookings for a goal in every period Friday night as they went on to win 3-0 at Riverside Arena.

Trey Dodd struck first for the Bruins at 7:12 in the first while Sam Kauppila scored in the second at 7:!4.

Josh Bretner added a shorthanded goal at the seven-minute mark of the third period.

The Bruins got the win despite being outshot 41-34.

Nick Lehr got the shutout in net for Austin.
