Two Brownsdale residents face felony charges after they were arrested on Thanksgiving, reportedly carrying 29 grams of methamphetamine.
Michael Charles Frost, 25, and Melissa Ann Frost, 34, were both charged Monday in Mower County Court with first-degree drug sale of more than 10 grams of meth, and first-degree drug sale of more than 25 grams of meth.
According to the court complaint, an officer stopped the Frosts’ car on East Oakland Avenue because it had crossed the center line. The officer noticed baggies sticking out of Michael’s pocket, the complaint added, and had another officer with a K-9 search the car. The K-9 allegedly found the meth inside of a purse, along with a pipe, digital scale, and pills that were schedule 3 and schedule 4 substances.
Michael and Melissa each have court dates scheduled for Dec. 12.
