For the second year in a row, the Eagles Club of Austin will provide a free, early Christmas dinner for those who may not have any other way to celebrate.
The Eagles free Christmas dinner will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Austin Eagles Club, 107 11th St. NE.
Organizers created the event last year to offer a place for those without a meal or group to be with this Christmas, and the event was a success.
“It was anywhere between like 90 and 100 people, which I thought was good for the first year,” said Tarsha LeBarron, one of the organizers. “We decided to do it again this year because everybody had fun with it, and it was a decent turnout.”
This year’s menu includes ham, turkey, stuffing, green beans, potatoes and pie. There is no registration, and guests can simply show up between 2 and 4 p.m.
