Pacelli Catholic Schools are again helping Austin residents close out the holidays.
Pacelli’s annual Christmas tree pick-up returns Saturday, with students, alumni, friends and parents gathering to pick up about 300 trees around town, and drop them off at local farms to be recycled.
Volunteers will meet at the St. Edwards Church gym, (Corcoran Center) at 8:30 a.m., and plan to start the pick up around 9 a.m. More than eight trucks will head around town that morning to pick up trees.
Trees must have no decorations or metal on them and must be on the street by 9 a.m. Free will donations are welcome.
