Graduations

Gina Maiden-Gullickson, daughter of Donald and Sharon Maiden, graduated with a master’s degree in software engineering administration from the University of West Florida in fall 2013 with a 3.9 grade point average. Maiden-Gullickson is a 2006 graduate of Austin High School. She and husband, Sam, will relocate from Panama City, Fla., to Denver, Colo., after her discharge from the Air Force in June 2014.

—Ashleigh Smith and Paige Smith, of Austin, were named to the Black Hills State University dean’s list for fall 2013.

Dancer heads to marathon

Jasmin Hultgren, a member of the Packer dance team, is one of thousands of people who will participate at the University of California — Los Angeles’s 13th annual Dance Marathon to raise money and awareness for pediatric AIDS/HIV research.
