The Riverland Community College men’s basketball team beat Ridgewater 83-71 in RCC Saturday.

Austin grad Goliath Oboyo had 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the win for the Blue Devils (8-9 overall, 1-3 MCAC South).

“Oboyo has really stepped up his play,” RCC assistant coach Derek Hahn said. “He’s played major minutes and played well since the division schedule began.”

Zach Hinrichs had 12 points and eight rebounds for RCC and Andrew Lau added 24 points.
