Kenneth Lowell Kilian, 66, of Austin, Minn., died Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home in Austin. He was born Nov. 18, 1947, to Lester and Isabel (Farr) Kilian in Albert Lea, Minn. Kenneth was a 1965 graduate of Blooming Prairie High School. He had a long career as an over the road trucker and dispatcher, retiring in 2007. A member of Geneva Lutheran Church, he loved riding motorcycle and built his Harley into a trike. He also enjoyed telescopes and target shooting.
Survivors include longtime companion, Donna Gullickson; three children, Nicole (Bruce) Stanford, Dr. Olivia (Dr. Jason) Johnson, and Jeffrey Kilian; one granddaughter, Isabella; two brothers, Adrian (Dorothy) Kilian, of Geneva, Minn.; and Darwyn Kilian, of Rochester, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Mary Kilian.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin, with Rev. Dale Christiansen of Crane Community Chapel officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the day of the service at Worlein Funeral Home. Interment will be in Geneva Cemetery, Geneva, Minnesota.
