Packer girls hockey team can’t keep up with Panthers

The Austin girls hockey team stuck with Rochester Century for two periods, but it couldn’t keep it up as it lost 7-2 in Riverside Arena Saturday.
Austin trailed 2-1 going into the third, but the Panthers (19-3 overall, 13-2 Big Nine) posted five goals in the third period to put the game away. Austin (5-16-2 overall, 2-14 Big Nine) managed just 10 shots in the loss and Mara Overby had 58 saves.
Chloe Summerfield had two goals for Austin and Myia Hoium and Madison Overby each had an assist.
The Packers have just two games remaining in the regular season.
