Packer boys hockey team blanks Dodge County

The Austin boys hockey team snapped a four-game losing skid when they blanked Dodge County (8-7-3 overall) 1-0 on the road Thursday.
The Packers (3-13-1 overall) took the lead for good in the second period when Trevor Stevens scored on an assist from Jace Greenman.
“It was a pretty physical game,” Austin head coach Erik LaRock said. “I’m really pleased with how we played defense.”
Connor Poczos had 21 saves to get the shutout for Austin and the Packers had 26 shots on goal.
