The Hayfield boys basketball team used a second half rally to beat Pine Island (7-11 overall, 4-9 Three Rivers) 65-55 on the road Friday.

Cole Kruger had 25 points and eight assists for the Vikings (16-4 overall, 10-3 Big Nine) and Drew Streightiff scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half.

“Drew really got going and he had a couple of big put-backs,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said. “He provided a spark.”

Hayfield opened the second half on an 8-0 run after it trailed 30-29 at the half.
