The Southland girls basketball team missed a game-tying layup at the buzzer as it lost 70-68 to St. Charles (8-12 overall, 6-9 Three Rivers) in Adams Thursday.
The Rebels (10-8 overall, 9-5 Three Rivers) trailed by six points with a minute to go, but they couldn’t finish their comeback.
