Nurse practitioner Kim Wangen has moved to Internal Medicine at the Austin campus of Mayo Clinic Health System — Albert Lea and Austin.

Wangen received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She has more than 20 years of nursing experience at the Austin campus, most recently as the hospital patient care supervisor, as well as in Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics, Intensive Care/Telemetry, and Emergency Department. Wangen’s professional interests include women’s health, rural health and fitness across a life span.
