The Langtry Cafe in Brownsdale is closed.

Langtry Cafe appears to have closed its doors this month as the restaurant hasn’t opened for several weeks. Employees left a voicemail on the cafe’s phone number that explained the cafe has closed. Employees also gave directions for residents who have gift cards to get refunds. The restaurant’s website appears to have been taken down, as www.langtrycafe.com redirects to another website.

Owners Steve and Cheryl Nagel opened the cafe in February 2011 after moving to the area from the Twin Cities. Business over the next year improved and the Nagels put the cafe for sale to manage the business.

Steve and Cheryl also hosted permit to carry courses at the restaurant and offered discounts on Thursdays to gun carriers.
