The Austin boys basketball team will open the Class AAA state boys basketball tournament as the No. 2 seed.

Austin will play Alexandria (15-11 overall)at Williams Arena in Minneapolis Wednesday at 2 p.m.

If Austin wins, it will play the winner of No. 3 Holy Family Catholic and Cloquet Thursday at 2p.m. in Target Center.

The Class AAA title game is Saturday at at Target Center at 6 p.m.
