Audrey Mae Pirkl, 76, of Owatonna, Minn., died on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at the Koda Living Community in Owatonna.

Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, at the First Lutheran Church of Hope with Pastor Sandy Miller officiating. An hour of visitation will precede the service at church.

Audrey was born on May 3, 1937, in Austin, Minn., to Charles and Mildred Hart. She and her brother, Kenneth were lovingly raised by their grandmothers, Amy Downey & Sally Hart. Audrey Married John I. Pirkl in June of 1962. Together they raised their family in Owatonna and later divorced. Audrey worked for the Hyline Hatchery, Wonder Bread and Truth Hardware. She enjoyed crochet, crosswords, NASCAR, country music and taking drives. Audrey was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Hope, Minn.

Survivors include her children, Michael Pirkl of St. Peter, Minn.; Kevin (Sara) Pirkl of Owatonna; Karen Pirkl of Owatonna; John C, (Kim) Pirkl of Owatonna; granddaughter Meghan Abston; grandsons, Andrew Pirkl and Joseph Pirkl; great-grandson, Taejin Abston; brother, Kenneth Hart of Washington; half-brother, Ronnie Mulholland of Wisconsin.
