Margaret L. Rossow, 90, of Austin, Minn., died Monday, March 17, 2014, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home.

Margaret was born Dec. 30, 1923, to Nels and Beate (Christiansen) Orwick. She grew up in rural Mower County. Margaret was baptized and confirmed at Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church. She graduated from Blooming Prairie High School.

On Oct. 5, 1946, she was united in marriage to Walter C. Rossow at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Austin.  Margaret was a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed baking, sewing, crossword puzzles, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include four children, Bruce Rossow, of Austin; Karen (Ron) Gurney, of Yuma, Ariz.; Sandra Rossow, of Eagan, Minn.; Bryan (Sue) Rossow, of Austin; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Rossow; three sisters; one brother.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Thomas Ogilvie officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.  Interment will be at a later date in Grandview Cemetery.
