Duplicate Bridge

Tournament results for March 26 with four tables played: First place, Eunice Michaelis and Warren Behrends; second place, Dave Ring and Orrion Roisen; third place, Marilyn Gesme and Romelle Enderson; fourth place, Edna Knobbe and Georgia Bissen

Duplicate Bridge is played each Wednesday at noon at the Mower County Senior Center in Austin. All Bridge players are welcome. Call Dave Ring at 507-434-4189.

 Brownsdale Study Club

The March meeting of the Brownsdale Study Club was held at Dorothy Anderson’s home in Field Crest Care Center.

Roll call was taken. It was answered by members sharing their favorite thing about spring. Dues were collected. We are still looking for new members. Dorothy Anderson wishes to resign, having moved to Field Crest.

We discussed what to do for a spring outing. It was decided to meet for lunch at the Brick House in Austin for lunch and then tour the Mower County Historical Society.

The main topic was presented by Ida Foster and the Outside Reading was presented by Beryl Sprung. The meeting was adjourned and a very delightful lunch was served by Dorothy Anderson, Sara Hatten and Rena Perrigo.
