A two-day benefit will be held Friday and Saturday for Dan “Mills” Miller.

Called “From Heart to Heart,” the benefit will attempt to raise money to help defray extraordinary medical expenses.

Miller, a 1985 graduate of Pacelli High School, requires a heart transplant.

He is a former manager at Torge’s Live in Austin and the son of Ann and the late Ivan Miller.

Friday’s benefit is a dance at the Austin Veterans of Foreign Wars Club, 300 Fourth Ave. N.E.

Music will be provided by the Amish Playboyz. The dance begins at 8 p.m. Friday.

Free will donations will be accepted.

The second benefit will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 211 First St. S.E.

There will be food, a silent auction and raffle.
