The Austin ArtWorks Center and the Austin Area Commission for the Arts are giving a little music to hopefully get donations.

The ArtWorks Center will host a concert featuring James Bracken and Jon Stowell at its proposed new location at 300 North Main Street in downtown Austin from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Admission to the concert is $5 and will go toward the upcoming ArtWorks Center remodel.

AACA Executive Director, Jennie Knoebel said the group is looking for frequent and diverse uses for its new space. The recent success of the Build Art Motorcycle Show has driven some momentum for use and appreciation of the new location. Knoebel said the group hopes to continue to host live music performances in the Center, and that this is the first of many intimate performances in the buildings future.
