The Austin boys tennis team lost 4-3 to Winona in Paulson Courts Friday.

Colton Detwiler won in two sets at No. 1 singles for the Packers (4-3 overall, 2-3 Big Nine).

“It was a close match that could have gone either way,” Austin head coach Troy Diekman said. “We really needed just one more singles or doubles team to step up, didn’t happen today. Our winning teams played well.”
