Austin police found a 14-year-old runaway from St. Paul and arrested an 18-year-old St. Paul man Friday.

Police Chief Brian Krueger said officers tracked a 2008 Chevy Cobalt driven by the 18-year-old to an apartment building in Austin after getting information on the case from Washington County authorities. They took the 18-year-old and 14-year-old into custody soon after. Krueger said the 14-year-old was not coerced into coming with the man, who is suspected of stealing the car.
