Austin Bruins drop game one to Roadrunners

The Austin Bruins are now one game from elimination after they lost game one of the Robertson Cup semifinals 7-5 in Topeka, Kan. Friday.
The Topeka Roadrunners took the lead for good when Jake Tafoya scored two goals in a 24-second spurt to make it 6-4. Austin bounced back when Brian Bachnack scored with 6:20 left in the game to make it 6-5.
Topeka iced the game with an empty netter with 26 seconds left in the game.
Austin’s Nick Lehr had 34 saves in the loss and the Bruins must now win two games in a row to advance to the Robertson Cup finals.
