The end of the school year is coming and many kids won’t have a lot of activities to fill their days. One option is day camp.

Pacelli summer enrichment camps are now open to all curious students completing grades kindergarten through fifth grade. These camps are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The cost is $100 per week, including lunch. Camp activities will be related to a different theme each week; such as “The Great Outdoors,” “Splash Week,” “Sports Extravaganza,” “Around the World in 4 Days,” which includes cooking, “Rainbow Mania,”“Pacelli Artworks,” “Who Dunnit?” and “All The World’s A Stage.” Some of the weeks include a field trip to places like the Minnesota Twins, Quarry Hill Nature Center, and a water park.

“All the World’s A Stage” is a music and drama camp that includes performing a play for others.

You can sign your child up for one to all eight weeks. A brochure of all activities is available in each parish office or at the school office. This opportunity is open to all students in Austin.

Registration closes May 16, 2014. Brochures are available in the offices of the Chamber, Pacelli Catholic Schools, Queen of Angels and St. Augustine’s Church.

Child care for preschool through fifth grade is open all summer long from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.
